Oldonyo Orok is a hidden treasure trove on the edge of Kenya. The hill is close to the Kenya Tanzania border. Firstly, it's about 155km from Nairobi city. The Oldonyo Orok forest is a protected and gazetted area by the Kenya Forest service. The forest is primarily home to many rare indigenous plants and herbs. Additionally, Namanga Hills is also home to unique species of wildlife.

Notably, the Oldonyo Orok forest mountain range provides water sources that supply water to the neighboring community. The dominant community is the famous Maasai people. However, Namanga, a border town, has many other communities from different parts of Kenya. in brief, due to the vibrance of the business and border activities. Oldonyo Orok stands tall and proud. Her beauty is unmatched. The hike starts at Baboon Camp, Maili Tisa, and ends at Baboon Camp, Maili Tisa. Technically, the walking duration is 6 to 7 hours up and down the mountain. Mount Longido across Tanzania is her closest neighbor. The peak rise to an elevation of about 2590 Meters above sea level. While at the summit, you have the best views of Namanga Town and beyond. It is truly breathtaking.
